Police on lookout for gunman who robbed San Ysidro Motel 6

SAN YSIDRO - Police were on the lookout Tuesday for a man who robbed a Motel 6 at gunpoint in San Ysidro.

The robbery at 160 Calle Primera was reported at 8:48 p.m. Monday, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.

The gunman took an undisclosed amount of money and fled in a dark Dodge Charger, Delimitros said in a statement. No one was injured.

Police described the robber as black, 5 feet 8, with a heavy build. He wore a beanie over his face, with holes cut out for his eyes, Delimitros said.
