SAN DIEGO - Two suspected burglars who got caught with property from a restaurant, including frozen fish, were under arrest Thursday after leading police in a short pursuit.

Police said they received a call for a possible burglary at 3 a.m. in the 500 block of Marina Parkway in Chula Vista.

Witnesses told police they saw burglars go into a vehicle and leave the area near South Bay Fish and Grill, which is located in Chula Vista.

Officers spotted the vehicle, which headed to north Interstate 5, then headed to north state Route 15 to east Interstate 8.

Two people inside the vehicle were arrested and eventually identified as the people leaving South Bay Fish and Grill.

Officers said they found property from the restaurant including frozen fish, copper wiring and burglary tools inside the car.

No one was injured.
