Police are searching for a man who sexually assaulted a woman while she was running on a bike path along the San Diego River Wednesday.

The incident happened at around 11:30 a.m. on a bike path near Robb Field, according to San Diego police.

The woman, who is in her 20s, told police she was running on the path when a man started following her on his bike.

According to the woman, the man came up behind her and grabbed her buttocks. The woman tried to run away, but the man continued to follow her and grabbed her buttocks two more times.

The man is described as a white male in his mid-20s, unshaven, with medium build and between 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing a black reggae-style hat, black, long-sleeved T-shirt and black jeans.
