Police: Man found shot in National City; suffers wound to forearm

NATIONAL CITY, Calif. - Police said they were investigating a shooting in National City Thursday night that left a 24-year-old man with a wound to a forearm.
Multiple witnesses called 911 around 9:45 p.m. to report hearing shots fired and seeing people running in the 2000 block of Granger Avenue, said National City police Sgt. Mike Harlan.
Arriving officers found the victim sitting on the sidewalk, Harlan said.
According to officers, the man was taken to a hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
He was uncooperative with investigators and provided no suspect description, Harlan said.
