Police investigating home-invasion robbery in East Village

SAN DIEGO - Police are investigating a home-invasion robbery in East Village on Wednesday evening.

Officers say a man entered the home at 1330 Market St. at about 8:40 p.m. through an unlocked door, displayed a handgun and demanded cash from the home's resident.

The man was last seen running southbound on 13th Street with the cash. He is described as a black man in his 20s who is 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He was wearing a camouflage jacket and woodland pants.

The victim was not injured.
