EL CAJON, Calif. (KGTV) -- Police in El Cajon are investigating after two people were stabbed Tuesday, leaving one of them dead.
Police were called to the 750 block of East Park around 7:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a fight.
After arriving, police said those involved had left the scene. Minutes later, police found a 17-year-old stabbing victim. The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Police said a second stabbing victim, later identified as 19-year-old Kyle Khamphan, was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead. Police investigating the stabbings say they appear to be gang-related.
