SAN DIEGO - San Diego police detectives on Saturday are investigating a shooting in Valencia Park that left one man dead and another seriously injured.

The shooting occurred shortly before 7:30 p.m. Friday near the 5100 block of Coban Street.

When officers and paramedics arrived, they found a 30-year-old man on the ground in a driveway suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics were unable to save him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
