SAN DIEGO - Police are looking into a report of shots fired in a Mira Mesa neighborhood Tuesday.

The incident was reported at around 12:50 a.m. in the 7800 block of Flanders Drive.

Police said a bail bondsman was attempting to catch someone who skipped bail. Police said the bondsman ended up firing a warning shot, though it is unclear what led him to do so.

Neighbors called police who then took the bail bondsman in custody. Officers also found a number of weapons in the trunk of his car.

The person that the bondsman was searching for was not arrested.

No one was hurt, but police say they are continuing to investigate the incident.
