SAN DIEGO - An 18-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were hospitalized Friday after being shot during an apparent gang-related attack in San Diego's Skyline neighborhood, police said.

The victims were sitting in a parked minivan in the 7500 block of Gribble Street t about 10:20 p.m. on Thursday when the shooter pulled up in a mid-sized white SUV, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.

Several shots were fired at the victims, and the man was struck four times, while his female companion was struck once, Delimitros said.

None of the wounds were life-threatening, he said.

Gang detectives were investigating.
