SAN DIEGO - A 30-year-old man suffered a stab wound in San Diego's North Clairemont neighborhood Friday morning, police said.
The victim walked into a house in the 4800 block of Genesee Avenue just before 12:45 a.m. and said he had been stabbed, a man who lives at the home reported, according to San Diego police Officer David Stafford.
The victim said a man walked up to him and issued a gang challenge, sparking a scuffle in which the victim was stabbed three times in the back, Stafford said. The man was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening wounds, he said.
The suspect was a Latino with a shaved head who was driving a gold car, Stafford said.
