SAN DIEGO - Police said they are investigating the armed robbery of a check cashing business Friday in the Kearny Mesa neighborhood of San Diego.
The San Diego Police Department said a gunman entered the Check 'n Go at 8199 Clairmont Mesa Blvd. at 6:20 p.m. Friday and demanded cash from two female tellers.
No one was hurt and the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed sum, officers said.
The gunman was described as black, in his late 20s, 5 feet 6 inches tall, thin and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.
Anyone with information was urged to call San Diego police at 619-531-2000.
