SAN DIEGO - A sea lion pup is back in the ocean Tuesday after getting stuck under a van in Pacific Beach.
Officers learned of a wandering sea lion pup at around 3 a.m. on Ocean Boulevard near Grand Avenue.
After wandering around Pacific Beach, the pup took refuge under an SUV and refused to move. A San Diego police officer eventually arrived, armed with a pole with a hoop at the end, to help wrangle the animal.
Officers then prodded the pup through the beach and back to the ocean.
