SAN DIEGO - Officials at Rady Children's Hospital said the 10-year-old boy found suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest in Scripps Ranch has died.
Neighbors told 10News that the victim is Eric Klyaz, a Fourth grader.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the shooting occurred in the garage of a townhome in the 10,900 block of Ivy Hill Drive. Neighbors said the garage was a popular hangout for many of the children within the townhome complex.
