He has been spotted in a red truck or a red sports car, with a damaged front right bumper, in the 3500 and 3700 blocks of Oceanview Boulevard, and in the 3500 block of Logan Avenue near Emerson Elementary School, between 1:45 p.m. and 2:15 p.m., said Officer David Stafford.

In each case, the man drove slowly alongside the children and asked them if they wanted a ride.

"He offers money and when the victims refuse he orders them into the car," Stafford said.

The man was described as bald on top with salt-and-pepper hair, a thin face and pronounced cheek bones.

Anyone who has seen the suspect was asked to call Detective Ruben Hernandez at (619) 527-3500.
