SAN DIEGO - Two men in their 20s were stabbed in an apparent gang-related attack in Pacific Beach early Wednesday but both were expected to survive, police said.
The men were walking in the 1000 block of Garnet Avenue when they were attacked around 1:15 a.m. by two men dressed in red, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros. The assailants issued a gang challenge to the victims before the attack, Delimitros said in a statement.
10News learned that the two victims left Pacific Beach on their truck and used a cell phone app to find a hospital. Instead, they ended up at a nursing home in the Point Loma area. The men called called 911 from that location.
