Suspects still at large

SAN DIEGO - A man was shot in the stomach Monday during a home invasion robbery in Clairemont, according to San Diego police.

The incident happened just before 11:30 a.m. at a home in the 3700 block of Boyd Avenue, police said.

Police said the 25-year-old man was alone in the home when four teens forced their way inside.

According to police, officers discovered a marijuana growing operation inside the home, and police believe the teens were trying to steal marijuana.

Police searched the area for the robbers by ground and aboard a patrol helicopter. There had been no arrests by early afternoon, SDPD public affairs Officer Ed Zwibel said.
