SAN DIEGO - A big rig overturned on a North County transition ramp early Wednesday, snarling traffic in the area for hours, authorities said.
The truck landed on its side on the southbound Interstate 5 transition ramp to eastbound Highway 78 shortly before 6:15 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol, which estimated a SigAlert for the area would remain in effect until about 10 a.m.
As of 10:25 a.m., authorities said the east SR-78 onramp on south I-5 was reopened to traffic.
No injuries were reported.
