Two people were displaced when a fire damaged their apartment in Rolando early Thursday, but no one was hurt, authorities said.The fire in a second-floor apartment unit in the vicinity of Rolando and El Cajon boulevards was reported at 2:18 a.m., according to a San Diego fire-rescue dispatcher. It was knocked down quickly, she said.The cause was under investigation and a damage estimate pending.The American Red Cross was helping the displaced residents, according to the dispatcher.
