One hurt in shooting outside Pacific Beach bar

SAN DIEGO - A woman was hit by a stray bullet after several shots were fired during a ruckus outside a Pacific Beach bar early Monday morning.

The fight occurred at about 2 a.m. outside Bar West at 959 Hornblend St.

According to San Diego police, a large group of men got in an argument, which resulted in shots being fired from inside a crowd.

A 24-year-old bystander was struck by one of the bullets, police said. She was taken to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening wound.

No one has been arrested. Witnesses told police the suspects may have fled the area in a Chevy Camaro or a Dodge Challenger.

Detectives are investigating.
