SAN DIEGO - An 85-year-old man with dementia who was missing overnight was located Saturday, receiving treatment at a hospital under an incorrect name, San Diego police said.
Ramon Navarro was last seen at 5:45 p.m. Friday in the area of 2500 Hopkins Street, according to a statement from the San Diego Police Department.
"He is known to frequent some of the strip malls on Plaza Boulevard in National City," according to the statement, which said Navarro has been diagnosed with dementia.
Navarro was found at UC San Diego Medical Center about 10 a.m., police said. He was brought to the hospital after falling at an unknown location, police said.
Navarro was staying at the hospital for an undisclosed health reason under a different name, but was wearing a bracelet with his name on it, police said. Police confirmed his identity about 10:45 a.m.
