OCEANSIDE, Calif. - Four people were displaced Wednesday following a fire that caused $125,000 damage to their Oceanside condominium, authorities said.

The noninjury fire at the four-unit condo building at 4498 Brisbane Way was reported at 6:55 p.m. Tuesday, according to Oceanside fire Battalion Chief Terry Collis.

Crews arrived six minutes later and declared the fire under control at 7:45 p.m., Collis said in a statement.

"An aggressive fire attack, combined with vertical ventilation, kept the fire from extending to the other units in the building," he said.

The cause was under investigation, though it appeared to be accidental in nature, according to Collis.
