A male nurse accused of sexually assaulting two women at health care facilities in San Diego and El Cajon pleaded not guilty Friday to a pair of felony charges.

Jose Alfredo Limon, 32, faces up to four years in state prison if convicted of two counts of sexual assault on a dependent adult, said Deputy Attorney General Peter Murray.

Superior Court Judge David Szumowski set Limon's bail at $50,000 and scheduled a readiness conference for June 6.

A preliminary hearing was set for June 8.
