SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – A North Park neighborhood lost water for the second time in a week.

A water main broke at the intersection of Dwight Street and Grim Avenue Thursday. Neighbors reported water spewing into the street around 6:30 p.m.  There was a water main break in the same intersection on Oct. 8.

A city spokesman says an 8-inch diameter concrete water main broke. It was the same issue reported the last time, although the city thinks it might be a different section of the pipe that busted Thursday.  They will have a better idea once they get to the pipe and examine it, according to the spokesman.

The 3600, 3700 and 3800 blocks of Grim Street lost water Thursday.

The city brought out water wagons for families that need water for the night.  They expect the water to be restored by 4 a.m. Friday.
