SAN DIEGO - San Diego utility crews spent most of Sunday repairing a water main break in the Midway area, the second in two days.

The main burst on Midway Drive and Enterprise Street in front of the Midway Post Office.

Crews told 10News an 18 inch cast iron pipe burst  right in front of the post office. Repairing the pipe is expected to take most of Sunday.

Six businesses were left without water as a result. The water is expected to return to those businesses by 2am Monday according to the city's Public Utility's Department.

Saturday’s main break occurred on northbound Sports Arena Boulevard at Interstate 8.

That break left a large sink hole in the roadway and blocked traffic in the area for several hours during repairs.

No water outages were reported in Saturday's break.
