New SD Zoo koalas receive first exam

3 Queensland koalas to be quarantined for 30 days

SAN DIEGO - Three new additions to the San Diego Zoo have received their first exam, zoo officials announced Wednesday.

Last month, the zoo welcomed three Queensland koalas from Dreamworld in Australia.

The koalas -- males Bradlee and Simba, and female Beejay -- are being quarantined for at least 30 days before they can join the other koalas.
