About 1,600 San Diego Gas and Electric customers were without power in the East County Sunday.
San Diego gas & electric said power went out at 9:11 a.m. today in some sections of Santee, including the Carlton Hills neighborhood, the Winter Gardens area of Lakeside, and the Bostonia neighborhood north of El Cajon.
Crews were working to determine the cause of the outage, and estimated that power would be restored by noon today.
