LA JOLLA -- The results are breathtaking when a group of amateur photographers gather at Scripps Pier to practice their art.
The night photography group uses steel wool to create an unbelievable light show.
“Light painting is actually starting to really take off as part of photography, as part of an art form.”
"Basically what this is, I use this for light painting and steel wool at the same time. Steel wool goes in up here, the lights are attached. And I've got a paint roller... it's really not dangerous. You get some really spectacular photos."
