A computer check revealed that 37-year-old Andre Arriaga-Preciado, who entered the border station on foot about 4:45 a.m., was a fugitive homicide suspect out of Norwalk, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials.

Arriaga-Preciado was booked into jail on $1.7 million bail pending extradition back to the Los Angeles area.
