A motorcyclist lost part of his foot and suffered a compound leg fracture in a collision with a car in Pacific Beach Monday.

The crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. at Grand Avenue and Lamont Street, San Diego police Sgt. David Jennings said.Lanes of Lamont and Felspar streets were closed, Jennings said.It did not immediately appear that alcohol was a factor, according to Jennings.Copyright Do you have more information about this story?
