DULZURA, Calif. (KGTV) - San Diego's Medical Examiner has identified the motorcyclist involved in a deadly crash with a tractor-trailer on State Route 94 Tuesday.
Novert Charles Valdiez, 56, of San Diego, was operating the motorcycle that crashed into the side of the truck on SR-94 near Dutchman Canyon Road sometime around 12 p.m.
Valdiez was wearing a helmet when he was pronounced dead at the scene.

California Highway Patrol said Valdiez was traveling westbound on SR-94 when he crossed into the eastbound lane and crashed.
The driver of the truck, identified only as a 30-year-old man, was not injured.
