SAN DIEGO - A motorcyclist was killed in a collision on northbound Interstate 5 Monday evening.
The collision occurred around 10:30 p.m. near the Sea World Drive onramp, according to the California Highway Patrol's online incident log.
The victim was identified early Tuesday as 23-year old David Floyd, a member of the military.
The collision forced closure of all of the freeway's northbound lanes. During that time, traffic was funneled alongside the center divider, according to CHP.
