The identity of a 25-year-old motorcyclist who was found dead on the side of a road near Escondido was released on Sunday by the Medical Examiner's office.Trevor Cole Ryan, a resident of Escondido, was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash at 6:41 a.m. Saturday when Escondido Fire Department officers found him unresponsive in a drainage ditch along the 1900 block of Felicita Road, according to a coroner's report.Ryan crashed sometime during Friday night as he drove west on Felicita Road, leaving the roadway for unknown reasons, Escondido Officer Mike Nelson said.He said Ryan appeared to be the only one involved in the crash, and the coroner would examine if alcohol or drugs were involved.
