A 69-year-old woman with Alzheimer's disease was found at a medical facility Tuesday, less than a day after wandering away from a Hillcrest home with her Chihuahua.

Mary Louise Lopez left for a walk with her dog on Monday evening in Hillcrest but failed to return, prompting her family to report her missing, according to San Diego police spokeswoman Lt.
