SAN DIEGO - The men responsible for the remote-controlled Superman seen flying over Carlsbad earlier this month returned with new robots.

On Tuesday, the likenesses of PGA golfers Dustin Johnson, Jason Day and Brandt Snedeker could be seen flying around the Torrey Pines area.

Robotics experts Gary Graf and Otto Dieffenbach used the same technology for the robotic trio as the Superman that got so much buzz and online attention.

The flying golfers were designed to promote a new Adidas golf shoe that is billed as "so light, it's like wearing nothing at all."
