The service for Sgt. 1st Class Kristoffer B. Domeij was held at 2:30 p.m. at Maranatha Chapel in 4S Ranch.

Domeij, who grew up in Rancho Bernardo, died from wounds suffered when his unit encountered an improvised explosive device in October.
