SAN DIEGO - A man suffered a slashed cheek Saturday morning in a fight outside a bar in San Diego's North Park neighborhood, police said.

The victim and another man got into a fight inside the True North Bar in the 2900 block of North Park Way at about 12:15 a.m. and the dispute spilled into the street out front, San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros said.

One of the men pulled a knife and slashed the other on the cheek, inflicting a six-inch cut, he said.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic man who was about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a fade haircut. He was wearing a black T-shirt and was last seen fleeing in a gray Kia SUV, Delimitros said.
