CARLSBAD, Calif. -
A skateboard-toting man dressed all in black robbed a North County bank Monday, according to authorities.
The thief, who appeared to be in his late 20s or early 30s, handed a demand note to a teller at the Wells Fargo branch office in the 6900 block of El Camino Real Carlsbad shortly before 11 a.m., according to the FBI.
After the cashier turned over an undisclosed amount of money, the bandit walked out of the bank and fled the area in an unknown direction.
Witnesses described him as a roughly 5-foot-9-inch, 175-pound white man in a T-shirt and a cloth cap that was pulled down over his hair and ears.
