SAN DIEGO - Police on Saturday are searching for a 25-year-old man who they say used a steak knife to stab his mother's boyfriend in the stomach.
The 53-year-old victim and the suspect got into a fight just after 7 p.m. Friday in the kitchen of the woman's home in the 1100 block of Atwater Street in Egger Highlands, San Diego police Sgt. David E. Jennings said.
During the fight, the younger man grabbed a steak knife and stabbed his mother's boyfriend, who was taken to a hospital, Jennings said.
The victim's condition was unavailable, and the stabbing suspect remained at large, Jennings said.
He did not know what the fight was about.
