A 35-year-old man sustained non-life-threatening stab wounds to his arm and the suspected assailant was taken into custody near Horton Plaza, San Diego police said Monday.

The victim was allegedly stabbed by a man in his 60s shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday near Fourth Avenue and Broadway, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.

Police took the suspect – who was also allegedly in possession of narcotics – into custody and recovered the weapon shortly afterward, Delimitros said.

His name was not immediately released.
