A fight over a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in downtown San Diego landed one homeless man in a hospital and another in jail on Saturday.

Police said the fight broke out in the 1300 block of Union Street at about 6:30 p.m. Friday.One man stabbed the other in the head with a pen, San Diego police Officer David Stafford said.The victim was taken to a hospital and expected to be OK, he said.The suspected attacker was arrested, Stafford said, but his name and booking information was unavailable early Saturday.Copyright Do you have more information about this story?
