Man slices nose, mouth of another man during fight inside El Uno Bar, police say

Police searching for suspects in attack

SAN DIEGO - A fight inside El Uno Bar, in San Diego, led one of two men attacking another to take out a knife and slice his nose and mouth, a police officer said Monday.

The assault was reported at 10:39 p.m. Sunday at El Uno Bar, 3412 University Ave., San Diego police Officer David Stafford said.

The slicing caused serious injury to the victim, Stafford said. "There is little information since the victim and witnesses inside the bar were uncooperative with police," he said.

The suspects were described as Hispanic. One suspect was about 35, 6 feet tall with a stocky build, wearing a white shirt and blue jeans, Stafford said.

The second suspect two was about 26, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 160 pounds, the officer said said.
