Man shot twice in apparent gang-related attack in 1800 block of Halo Street
Victim suffered non-life threatening wounds

SAN DIEGO - A 35-year-old man was shot twice in an apparent gang-related attack while walking in Egger Highlands early Monday but he was expected to survive, police said.
The shooting in the 1800 block of Halo Street was reported at 1:37 a.m., according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.
The shooter was a dark-skinned man, about 5 feet 8, with slicked black hair and a mustache, Delimitros said in a statement.
The victim was shot in the arm and abdomen but neither wound was life-threatening, he said.
