CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. - A suspect who was chased by California Highway Patrol Officers from San Bernardino County to Camp Pendleton was arrested early Thursday.

The chase is reported to have started in San Bernardino County at around 5 a.m and lasted an hour long until 6 a.m.

The suspect, who drove at speeds up to 100 mph, led police through southbound Interstate 405 in Long Beach to south Interstate 5.

10News learned that the driver drove through the Cristianitos Gate in Camp Pendleton and officers caught up with the suspect about a mile past the entrance.

Officials said the suspect is not a member of the military and has no associations with the base.
