Neighbors called police when they saw the man on the roof of an apartment complex in the 8700 block of Lake Ashmere Drive at about 1 a.m.

The man then made his way to a complex in the 8700 block of Navajo Road and broke into the window of an apartment on the second floor.

Police arrived and took the man into custody. According to police, possible charges against the man are still pending.

His name was not immediately available. He was injured during the incident and was taken to the hospital to be treated. The extent of his injuries was unknown.

Police say they believe he was on drugs.
