SAN DIEGO -
A man was held in a headlock as two thieves stole about $1,200 in property during a home invasion robbery in North Park early Monday, police said.
The robbery in the 4000 block of Utah Street was reported at 1:35 a.m., according to San Diego police Officer David Stafford.
The victim told officers he was sleeping when two men entered his home. The men demanded cash while one of them held the victim in a headlock, Stafford said in a statement.
When the victim said he didn't have any cash, the thieves settled for property worth about $1,200, the officer said. No one was hurt.
Police were looking for two Hispanic men. One was about six feet and wore a black jacket and gray ball cap, Stafford said. The other was described as roughly 5 feet 7, last seen wearing a blue hoodie and blue jeans.
