Beating leaves man without a finger

SAN DIEGO - A man was found beaten and robbed early Wednesday in Emerald Hills.

The man was bleeding when a couple came across him around 5:45 a.m. on the 1700 block of Kelton Street, according to the couple.

The couple said the man had a bloody stump where a finger used to be.

Paramedics were called to the scene and San Diego Police detectives are investigating the incident.
