Sheriff's investigators are trying to track down the man who exposed himself at a Solana Beach coffee shop last Saturday morning.
It happened at Java Depot on North Highway 101. The restaurant was packed with people. Luis Parias was on duty at the time.
"I don't know how you can call it, I've never seen such a thing," said Parias.
Parias said two young women had just purchased smoothies. They were looking for a place to sit when the man flashed them.
"I guess we can call it masturbating himself in front of these girls," said Parias.
When a customer ran to get the manager, the man ran out. He was in such a hurry, he dropped some papers on the sidewalk. When he picked them up, the customer snapped his photo.
The picture is making the rounds on Facebook. 10News is not showing the man's face until the photo is released by the sheriff's department.
Investigators confirm they are trying to identify the man in the photo. Parias still can't believe the man would be so brazen in a public place.
"For him to come in here, and do it, just left like nothing happened. Pretty sure he's done it before," said Parias.
