A man cut the security bars on a window to a Rancho Bernardo jewelry store on Sunday and got away with a large amount of jewelry, San Diego police said.

The burglar entered through a rear window at about 5:40 a.m. at Unicorn Jewelers at 16781 Bernardo Center Drive and took numerous pieces of jewelry, police said.The alarm was activated, but the burglar left through the back window before police arrived, police said.The burglar was described only as a man who was wearing dark clothing with a hood.Copyright Do you have more information about this story?
