SAN DIEGO - Kaiser Permanente Hospital on Zion Avenue was on alert Wednesday night after a man claimed to have a bomb.
Nurses at the hospital called police around 8:30 p.m. when the man told them he had a bomb in his backpack.
San Diego police officers and K-9 units searched both inside and outside the campus.
He was located in the hospital’s cafeteria and was taken into custody on suspicion of making a terrorist threat.
Authorities concluded their search of the campus and found no dangerous devices.
