A man crawled through an open window into a Bankers Hill apartment early Monday, exposed himself to a woman who had been sleeping, grabbed her wrist but then ran away, apparently chased off by her screams, police said.The incident was reported at around 4 a.m. in the 2600 block of First Avenue in Bankers Hill.Police said the man broke into the apartment by knocking out a screen from a bedroom window. A woman asleep inside woke up and found the intruder touching himself inappropriately.She screamed after he grabbed her wrist, police said. The man fled and took two of her phones with him.Police said the woman was so scared she waited 15 minutes before calling the police. The woman was not hurt, police said.Authorities are still searching for the suspect.10News has learned that the man is described as a white male in his 30s, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a stocky build. He wore eyeglasses, a white t-shirt and dark, plaid shorts.
